Okay, so my mom FINALLY gave in and said i am aloud to get my hair dyed at the salon i want to go medium or dirty blondish, my hair is kinda light brown right now, but i have dyed it with boxes from the drug store before, and yes, it does make it dry, thats why im getting it done at the salon!, but i have a ?, does your hair come out dry when u get it done at the salon??? and also could you please post pictures of nice natual or dirty blondish colors? thanks!!

If you want to go lighter, and stay healthy, it's better to highlight it in stages. The only trouble is that is costs more at a salon.
And if you want to do it all over without highlights, then a salon is the only place to do it. It will be drier, but if you condition it heavily a couple of weeks after your color it will improve. bleaching it opens the cuticles up wide... and it take a while for them to smooth back down. Condition it and rinse it with cool water in the shower. And avoid shampooing everyday right after. And NO flat irons or curling irons for the first week. good luck.I need good Hair color pictures!!
